Spicy Crispy Smashed Potatoes
Crispy smashed baked potatoes seasoned with Starseed Kitchen 11 Magic Herbs & Spices for a flavorful side dish.
INGREDIENTS FOR SMASHED POTATOES
- 1 or 2 pounds small potatoes, red or white
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Starseed Kitchen 11 Magic Herbs & Spices
CHEF TIPS
- For more spicy of flavorful potatoes, add more spice. Start with 1 tablespoon and add and additional teaspoon each time you make this recipe till you find your perfect ratio.
- No need to add additional sea salt to the potatoes, it is in the spice blend.

Description
Crispy smashed baked potatoes seasoned with Starseed Kitchen 11 Magic Herbs & Spices for a flavorful side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 pound small potatoes (white or red)
- 2–3 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
- 1 TBSP Starseed Kitchen 11 Magic Herbs & Spices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees, convection setting. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Add potatoes to a medium pot. Cover with water and boil till soft. About 10 mins.
- Drain potatoes. Add to parchment paper. Let cool for 5 minutes. Using a flat surface, such as a flat spatula or small cup with a flat bottom, smash each potato.
- Add potatoes to a medium bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and spice. Toss well till evenly coated.
- Add potatoes to baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes till crispy and edges are brown.
- Serve immediately and enjoy or save in the fridge for meal prep for up to 5 days.
Notes
If potatoes are dry, drizzle a little olive oil on top when ready to serve.
