Description
This Maple Walnut Crusted Salmon is one of those recipes that looks elevated but is incredible simple to make. The combination of savory, crunchy and just a touch of maple creates a restaurant worth salmon dinner with minimal prep and no breadcrumbs.

- 4 salmon filets, 4-6 ounces each
- 1-2 tablespoons of Starseed Kitchen 11 Magic Herbs & Spices
- 1 cup of organic walnuts, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup minced flat leaf parsley
- pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, convection setting.
- Using a baking sheet and parchment paper, lay out salmon and pat dry with a paper towel. Season fish well with 1-2 tablespoons of Starseed Kitchen 11 Magic Herbs & Spices.
- Make the crust. Using a small food processor, chop walnuts to a fine finish. Add to a medium bowl.
- Combine walnuts, maple syrup, olive oil, parsley and sea salt together. Place on salmon filets and press firmly into fish, creating a crust.
- Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove, let cool for 5 minutes, and serve.
Notes
If you don’t have convection setting on your oven, increase the heat to 425 degrees for baking.
If you like your fish on the more rare side, bake for 10 minutes.
